On 20 and 21 September 2012, CEIS-European Office and the EUROSINT FORUM organized a second workshop in the framework of the FP7 RECOBIA project (Reduction of Cognitive Biases in Intelligence Analyses). On 10 and 11 May 2012, in the framework of the FP7 RECOBIA project, CEIS, Hawk and the EUROSINT FORUM organised a workshop in Brussels.  The objective of this first meeting was to share experiences and best practices with intelligence analysts regarding the management of cognitive biases impacting intelligence analysis.

The RECOBIA kick-off meeting, on 2 February 2012 in Brussels, marked the beginning of the project. This successful meeting brought together all the members of the consortium in order to build a common understanding of the project. Project’s general objectives were identified, division of labour was set and the agenda of the coming year was fixed.
